Tree Felling

This Autumn a number of trees that were considered unsafe have been felled to ensure the Forgotten Woodland Garden remains a safe area for workers and visitors. Some trees were clearly hollowed out by fungus and some, especially the tall ashes with ash dieback disease, were felled because if left they become brittle with time and then more difficult to safely drop.
