St Luke’s Open Garden Sun 11 August

The second Open Garden event is planned by St Lukes Hospice Plymouth to be held on Sunday 11 August from 12.00 – 4.00pm. This event would normally be centred on the Hotel gardens. However this year the Friends of the Forgotten Garden have combined with them to show off the woodland garden which the “Squarson” Sabine Baring-Gould created for his arthritic wife just prior to the 1st World War.

Teas will be available at the Forgotten Gardens. Again the woodland walk offers a chance to visit the Holy Well and it’s quiet woodland surrounds.

The main garden of Lewtrenchard Manor hotel will not be open because of maintenance work.
