Overview. The General Data Protection Regulations came into operation on 25 May 2018 and affects even organisations as small as the Friends of the Forgotten Garden of Lewtrenchard. As a result we will only keep paper membership forms with contact details relating to paid up members and entities such as companies affiliated to us.
We take the utmost care with your information and we will never share your information with any third parties or other companies. You will always have the right to withdraw your permission to store your information at any time by a simple request by contacting the Chairman or any committee member.
Email lists of our members will be held only on the Chairman’s passworded computer specifically for the emailing of our members. To enable us to do this properly please ensure that you have completed our formal Data Protection approval although the payment of our membership will be taken as annual acknowledgement of agreement to this policy and the future supply of our emails and Newsletters. The Friends of the Forgotten Garden of Lewtrenchard would like to keep you updated with news about our woodland garden, fundraising activities, campaigns and other ways that you can help us.
