Spring 2019 Bluebell Event being planned

Springtime is here so say “goodbye” to winter doldrums and come down to the Forgotten woodland garden of Lewtrenchard and see our bluebells in flower.
On Saturday 11 May (from 2.00pm until 4.00pm) the flowers will be at their peak to coincide with our Bluebell Event where the Friends provide cream teas for a small fee and a guided tour for newcomers. Our famous Pixie Hunt returns this year and we hope that there will be children to help us find them all.

This year we need to raise funds to reroof our lime kiln to create a small visitor centre and donations towards this are gratefully received. We will also be appreciative of any visitors who take photographs of our garden and forward them to our team, because after a well received 2019 calendar we intend to run another for 2020.

Future Events 2019:
Later this year we will be running a pub quiz, AGM in June and August barbecue.
