Somme memorial plaque by hornbeam tree

Memorial over the 100year Time Capsule planted by the children of Lewtrenchard C of E Primary school on 11 November 2016. This event marked the end of the battle fought during the Summer and Autumn of 1916 in northern France during the First World War and also the end of the Red Spider Company’s “All the Fine Young Men” program of events.
