Christmas across the Generations
The spirit of Christmas is retold by this recent little interview to the point where I believe it should be shown on our website.
It was written by the 5 year old great-grandson of Ron Wawman. Ron helped start the Friends of the Forgotten Garden of Lewtrenchard and still keeps an eye on its development. His brother, Richard died in action during the 2nd World War on board HMS Kelly and a remembrance tree to Richard grows in the glen.
Ron was evacuated from London during the 2nd World War. The “interview” was done over iPads using FaceTime. It’s amazing what advances a few generations can achieve, yet this is a wonderful reminder of humanity that cuts across the generations.
